Routier provides hospitality entities (“Clients”) with AI operations and marketing solutions founded on guest-centric and staff-centric methodologies, to improve brand reputation, optimize venue and staff performance as well as increase guest satisfaction and loyalty (“Services”).

This privacy Policy describes how Routier collects information about the users of the Website, Routier’s Client’s staff member users (“Staff Member User”) and Routier’s Client’s guests who are users of the Service (“Guest Service Users”). 

By using our Website and Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Collecting Information

Please note that the scope of this Privacy Policy is limited only to information collected by Routier through your use of its Website and Services. Some information may be automatically collected, and some is collected when you interact with our Website. The type of information that may be automatically collected is non-personal information, which includes your session durations, the content you accessed on the Website, the frequency and scope of your use of the Website and information about your computer and internet connection including the operating system you use and browser type.

Information from which you can be personally identified may also be collected, including but not limited to your name, email address, telephone number, and the location of the computer through which you used the Website (hereinafter: “Personal Information”). Personal Information shall be collected if you are a user of our Website, a Staff Member User or our Guest Service User, and all as described below.

When you contact us via the Website, we will collect your full name, e-mail address, phone number, your company name and the content of your inquiry. 

Requesting a Demo

If you wish to request a demo to use our Service, we will collect you full name, e-mail address, phone number and company details to provide you with our demo.

Statistics collected as you browse our Website

We collect organizational and Personal Information of our users when they are visiting our Website, such as visited pages and information about which browsers & devices users use to visit our Website. 

Users of our Services

Registration to our Services 

In order to register to our Service, you may be required to create an account (“Account”). During the process of creating the Account, you will be requested to provide us with your contact details, including but not limited to your full name, email address and phone number. 

Staff Member User

If you are a staff member working for our Clients, we will collect your Account information to provide you with access to the Services, which will enable you to interact with our Guest Service Users. 

Guest Service User

If you are our Guest Service User, we may collect your Account information and contact information. We may also collect your reservation details, including but not limited to, your check-in dates, loyalty member information and room number. We may collect such information via our Client’s Property Management System or from the reservation platform from which you made your reservation or from you when you directly provide it to us. When you use our Services, we will collect any information you choose to submit. 

Use of Information

We use the Personal Information we collect from you for a range of different business purposes according to different legal bases of processing. We may use or process your Personal Information for the following purposes. One or more purposes may apply simultaneously.

  1. Providing the Requested Services


  • Whether you are a Staff Member User or a Guest Service User, we will collect your Personal Information to provide our Clients with the Services they contracted to receive.
  • If you are a Guest Service User, we will collect your Personal Information to provide you with the hospitality services you contracted to receive from our Clients. 
  • If you are a Website user, and you requested a demo when considering to obtain our Services, we will collect your Personal Information to provide you with our demo, and introduce you with our Services.
  • If you contact us via the Website, we will collect your contact information as well as the content of your inquiry to provide you with the technical and professional assistance you required.

We process the Personal Information where it is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract we have with you or you have with our Clients regarding the requested Services.

  1. Improvement and Development of the Services

  • We collect Personal Information to improve and develop our Services and understand feedback on our Client's hospitality services and to help provide more information on the use of those services quickly and easily.
  • We collect Personal Information for ongoing review and improvement of the information provided on our Website to ensure it is user friendly. 
  • We collect Personal Information to improve the management and administration of our business and maintain compliancy with our internal policies and procedures.
  • We conduct surveys and research, test features in development, and analyze the information we have to evaluate and improve our Services, develop new features, and conduct audits and troubleshooting activities. 

We process this information in light of our legitimate interest in improving the Services as well as our Clients’ legitimate interest in improving their hospitality services, to allow our users to have the best experience.

We process this information in light of our legitimate interest to personalize your experience, customize our content and provide you with promotional offers relevant to our Services.

We may also share your information with analytics service providers for analytics services. Such analytics service providers set their own cookies or other identifiers on your computer, through which they can collect information about your usage of our Website. This helps us compile aggregated statistics about the effectiveness of our Website and Services. 

The above mentioned third parties may be located in countries other than your own, and we may send them information we receive. When such third party service providers process your Personal Information on our behalf, we will assure that they comply with obligations similar to those which are set forth in this Privacy Policy. If you are a Staff Member User or a Service User, with respect to your Personal Information collected on behalf of our Clients, in the course of using the Services, Routier is considered a “Data Processor”. If you wish to submit a request to exercise any of the above rights, you may do so by contacting the respective Client who provides you with their hospitality services or for whom you work for. If you do wish to submit such request to us, we will make our best efforts to facilitate your request, pursuant to our Client’s instructions. 


We may use “cookies” and/or other technologies or files (collectively, “cookies”) to identify how visitors make use of this Website. This aggregated tracking information may be used to help us improve and enhance the Website experience for all of our visitors. In addition, cookies are used for adjusting the Website to your personal preferences. We endeavor to restrict access to Personal Information on a ‘need to know’ basis for the provision of Services to you. No such measures are perfect or impenetrable. In the event of a security breach, we will take all reasonable action to minimize any harm. Although we will do our best to protect Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our Website or to our Clients, and transmission is at the users own risk.

Generally, Routier does not retain information longer than necessary to provide its Services and for its reasonable business and lawful needs. If you withdraw your consent to us processing your Personal Information, we will erase your Personal Information from our systems, unless the Personal Information is required for Routier to establish, exercise or defend against legal claims or it is necessary for the performance of the requested Services.
